Google+ & Photography Community

So many people have expressed worries about posting images on Google +, I for one don't sell my images that I place on any social networking site. I am after exposure for my wedding and portrait photography business, if you are in the business of showing images then why not show them to everyone.

But one reason to post photos on Google + is to let other photographers see your work, critique your images, give you tips, and talk about what's new in the photography industry. I love Google + and will keep using it to help my photography business grow.

Scenes from Vermont

I have lived in Vermont my entire life, it happens to be my favorite state that I have visited thus far. Autumn is my absolute favorite time of year. I love the colors that burst it seems from every angle and vantage point. What's not to love about hiking all over wearing a comfy sweater and maybe falling into a fast moving stream.

What I have learned... Make sure you bring extra socks and shoes. Because getting up before dawn, there will be a lot of dew/frost that will make for a very uncomfortable experience. Remember warm dry feet are happy feet. I recommend a wool sock, such as Darn Tough (cough) because they are made in Vermont.

Enjoy,

My Love of Photographing Weddings

I have been photographing Weddings for over 6 years now throughout the state of Vermont and all over New England. I cannot say how many valuable connections that I have made through the years. Countless I am sure.

The most important aspect of any business are the clients you are serving, all of the couples I have photographed over the years, I know call my friends. If I have learned one thing about Weddings, Civil Unions or Celebrations is that no matter who I am photographing Love is the most important factor in creating images. I love photography!

When you photograph a milestone in someone's life, an instant bond is formed. You create some of the most important images of the beginning of a couples new life together.

Thank You Everyone!

ZZ Top

Photographing concerts is something I have always been into, I love the lighting and smoke that always make for dramatic images. ZZ Top had an amazing light show at this concert, not to mention they are amazingly talented musicians.
