Downtown Rutland Vermont In HDR

Experimenting with photography is something I like to do when I feel like I am at a stand still with my creative energy. These photos were all taken atop of the Parking Deck on West Street in Downtown Rutland. I think these look like paintings in a way, I took three different exposures (-1,0,+1) merged them all together with Photomatix. Car Show in HDR

Firework Photos From Maine

 The Moon was really bright this night, I like the cloud cover to the bottom left of this burst of fireworks, what I forgot to do is get to a place where they would not be people standing in front of me.

 This fireworks display was set off from the beach in Old Ochard Maine, every Thursday night at 9:45pm during the summer months. I was actually impressed with the display. One benefit of photographing fireworks from the beach, is that you don't have to contend with excess smoke from the fireworks. The constant breeze, takes care of the smoke rather quickly.

In this photo I was playing around with zooming out when taking a photo of the fireworks, thought it came out neat. The Moon looks like a giant flash light beam.

When a potential client contacts me about a date, that I have already booked. I always try to refer them to another local photographer. Caring for the clients needs, even when you cannot yourself help or service their needs. This extra step, this will show the customer that you are interested in making their experience with a photographer better. Always deliver, the best customer service.

This will also form a working relationship with other photographers, they will begin referring photography jobs to you. The best thing that I have learned through working with other photographer is that, you are not in competition with other photographers. Not everyone will choose you as their photographer, that's okay. You want to find customers who fit into who you want as a client.
