Relay For Life Fundraiser: Digital Downloads
Relay For Life Fundraiser: Digital Downloads
If one thing single thing can change your whole life forever. It would be these three words, You Have Cancer. So I have decided to support The American Cancer Society by having a Relay For Life Team. Rutland County Relay For Life is June 21st at The Vermont State Fair. If you would like to donate to my personal page here is the link B. Farnum Photography
So getting donations isn't always the easiest task, so I have decided to package some of my photographs in selected galleries to give incentive to donate: (4) digital downloads for $5.00. So with every download package, $4.60 goes to Relay For Life!!
For the galleries available for download, follow the link below.

Photos to Oils
Photos To Oils: Brian Farnum
B. Farnum Photography
Software used: Topaz Adjust & Photoshop CS6
Well as everyone can imagine the Winter's in Vermont, can suck the creativity out of you with the lack of an extensive color palette. I created these to provide a creative outlet for myself, because I was feeling like I need to express myself. When I make art for me, I always love the project that much more. All of the original photos were taken by me, Brian Farnum of B. Farnum Photography.
Enjoy!
Prints are available as well, Photos To Oils

Salvador Dali- The Dali Museum in St. Petersburg
Using bracketed exposures and converting those into HDR (High Dynamic Range) photographs like those you see below. I thought making these photos look surreal was a way to show my love for Salvador Dali's +artwork.
Each of the panes of triangular glass offers a different perspective. Taken with Canon 5D

B&H Photo: Fall Color Photo Contest- Win 1of 3 Cameras!
Grand Prize -
Blending the classic feel of an all metal body with the highly
popular Micro Four Thirds trend in photography, Olympus presents their E-P3 PEN Digital Camera.
This version of the E-P3 includes an ED 14-42mm II R f/3.5-5.6 zoom
lens as well, to get you out shooting from day one. Highly desired for
many reasons, Micro Four Thirds cameras provide an easily transportable
body (this one with the look and feel that only a metal body can bring
to hand) along with numerous lens options and the features and functions
of a full-sized DSLR camera.
Please note: Winner can choose between the camera or equivalent value in B&H gift cards.
________________________________________________________________________________
2nd Prize

your hand. Not only that, but the E-PL3 promises to do so, without
weighing you down. Perhaps you’re a die-hard Micro Four Thirds fan or
you’re simply looking for more versatility than a point-and-shoot can
provide but without the weight of a DSLR rig. Olympus has heard the call and thus, has expanded their PEN line of cameras.
Please note: Winner can choose between the camera or equivalent value in B&H gift cards.

Google Plus a Photographers Wonderland
Ever take a photo, then wonder what other people will say about the photograph? Want a place to learn about new gear, the latest editing software or a hot new plug-in? Google Plus has created a photographers wonderland. You can post a photo, within seconds or sometimes minutes will start getting feedback from your peers. Constructive criticism most of the time, but all valuable insights into what others might be thinking about an image you created.
Many times other photographers will +1 the image or even share the image.By sharing the image it will go in front of many more sets of eyes, everyone that's in their circles. But the greatest thing about when someone shares your post! You can see the comments that are being added to the original post. Something that Facebook does not do or doesn't want to do.
From a marketing standpoint this is flipping amazing, you can show off your work to that many more sets of eyes. This will help your work be seen around the world, it might not bring extra business your way initially but you never know who can potentially see your images. Director of photography for a magazine, a curator for a museum, or a buyer for an ad agency.
